Konica III

I have a Konica III 35 mm rangefinder. Sporting a terrific fixed 48mm F2 lens, its heavy in the hand and quality through and through - a quite beautiful little camera that has a keen if small following among rangefinder aficionados. Quirky, but extremely well-designed and made, its small size makes it perfect for urban photography, etc. I have several cameras, up to 5x4; I think the Konica is my favourite. I'm prompted to post briefly on it after coming across Johnny Martyr's great review on his Wordpress site: https://johnnymartyr.wordpress.com/2017/07/03/behold-the-konica-iii (see also http://www.dantestella.com/technical/koni3.html). Of course, I was always on the lookout for a 'bargain' Leica MP3 in my search for a rangefinder - no such thing. And the Konica was, relatively speaking, a real bargain. I even have a set of filters for it now, one an old Agfa - 35.5 mm so tricky to find!

I've uploaded a small selection of photographs taken with it in the couple of years I've owned the camera. If you have a hankering after a rangefinder that's not quite run of the mill, check out the Konica III - it comes in two or three different flavours.
